How To Take a Practice Test and Check Out Designated Supports

Accessibility Guide - The entire guide to all the different Universal Tools, Designated Supports, and Accommodations for each test. If you are unsure if a Support will benefit a student, go here for the justification about which students should utilize the Support.

CAASPP Embedded Designated Supports - Shareable with families. Start having conversations about these supports early, so your families can start to implement the tools in their day-to-day learning, if they haven't already.

Read Aloud Guidelines - Read Aloud is an in-person support. An alternate, embedded support would be Text-to-Speech if your student will be completing the test remotely.

Scribing Protocol - Scribe is an in-person support. There is no alternate for general ed students. Students on an IEP or 504 plan could use Speech to Text as an accommodation if they are wanting to complete testing remotely.
