Anytime you become aware of an enrolled student going through Foster Youth placement or process, please verify that the student is designated as a Foster Youth in School Pathways. This is indicated by a green asterisk on your roster. Please alert the Director of Student Affairs if the foster youth designation or guardianship information is not accurate in School Pathways or you have questions on how to support your student.
Foster students often have several government agencies working to support them. Each agency has its own set of guidelines and rules surrounding the sharing of information. The Student Affairs department will review these as well as other items pertaining to each foster student.
