Who Is It For?

Students who demonstrate mild difficulties with speech articulation who do not make adequate progress with the Tier 1 supports available.

Tier 2 Speech Supports

Speech Labs

Weekly small group instruction focused on developing proper articulation for specific sound errors.

Cycle Dates

Cycle 1: Weeks of 9/15/25 - 11/3/25

Cycle 2: Weeks of 12/2/24 - 2/2/25

Cycle 3: Weeks of 3/2/25 - 5/5/25

Receiving Tier 2 Speech Support

Students are invited to participate in Speech Lab classes based on HST referrals for Tier 2 when Tier 1 speech/language supports are consistently in place yet the student continues to display speech articulation delays. An Incident should be created in Educlimber to alert the Student Support Team of this need. Once the Incident has been received, the Learning Coach and HST will be contacted with next steps.

Monitoring Tier 2 Speech Support

Each week student progress will be monitored by the Speech Team. Attendance and progress will by reported in Educlimber. At the end of the intervention period, further recommendations will be made based on student progress.
